Mountain Queen
It's the sand, the edge on high
The golden grains swaying
The fields of flowers
Among the trees silently playing
The rains as they wash away
In between mnts
The canyons below
The ferocious winds
continue to blow
As she stands tall
It's the snow
In its pristine
The wildlife that sings
It's the air
Redolent of smells
It's time that passes
with no sound
As she stands tall
The sun that shines
on nakedness
warming to the soul
the stars that fill a sky
cleanse a soul
of where no one is
and no one goes
As she stands tall
It's humanity
Sometimes undignified
And the fates hand
That giveth and taketh
It's all in silence
In the place
Where there are none at all
And she stands tall
It's a world
Few actually see
Longings and belonging
Moments that pass
Time to believe
For its the hall
Of the mtn queen
Mysteries of days
That now unfold
Tales hidden
In secret walls
She plays a tune
Sings to the moon
And the night will move
In the hall of the mountain queen
Tales of lore
The witches bring
The answers beyond
locked darkened corridors
Come and break free
Into the hall of the mountain queen
